These adaptations don’t always correct themselves naturally and the strain they cause on the body can lead to pain and injury.
Stress impacts upon the way we breathe, think and move. For example, if you feel pain in your in your shoulder, back or knee it’s usually the result of underlying issues like larger muscles in your pelvis not doing enough work. During your assessment we map the strength and weakness in your body to find out how your brain is communicating with your muscles. From this assessment we can identify how your body has been compensating and create a treatment plan to resolve it.
This knowledge allows us work together to manage your injuries and to help you gain awareness of how your body responds to everything, including how you think.

After sustaining a pelvis and shoulder injury that wouldn’t heal I went in search of a deeper understanding of why? Amongst some very cool and effective techniques from the worlds best teachers, I learned that physical and emotional pain live in the same place in your brain, chronic injury is almost always stress related, and hardly anyone breathes well.
